Limitless players competing on the basketball court in Roblox

Roblox development studio

Redact Studios

Two flagship basketball games. One studio built around commercial production, competitive gameplay, persistent systems, and live operations.

Co-flagship projects

Two games. Two different jobs.

Build a Basketball Team is the client-backed commercial flagship. Limitless is the competitive live-service flagship. Both are treated as full products, not portfolio filler.

Build a Basketball Team

A client-backed basketball team-building experience designed around roster identity, meaningful player choices, repeatable progression, and a clear path from first session to long-term collection.

  • Production architecture for a scalable team-building loop instead of a one-off prototype.
  • Roster, player tendency, progression, persistence, economy, and presentation systems built to work together.
  • Commercial planning that accounts for update cadence, retention, monetization, and launch readiness.
  • Developed as an active Redact Studios production with room for content growth after release.

Live systems 02 / Competitive flagship

Limitless Basketball

A competitive basketball experience built around timing, player expression, persistent progression, organized league play, and the operational tools required to keep a live community moving.

  • Shooting, layup, dunk, dribble, block, contest, stamina, screen, and rebound systems.
  • Server-authoritative validation for stats, purchases, scoring, and anti-cheat boundaries.
  • Keyboard, controller, and mobile input supported without flattening the skill ceiling.
  • Career stats, archetype caps, referee tools, scoreboards, progression, and live balancing.

03 / League operations

Redact League Platform

A Discord operations layer that turns a community server into a working basketball league instead of a pile of manual staff tasks.

  • Roblox account registration and in-game profile synchronization.
  • Captain-controlled offers, releases, trades, team roles, and transaction logs.
  • Season scheduling, standings, player totals, leaderboards, playoffs, and awards.
  • Permission-gated commissioner workflows, moderation, server onboarding, and reaction roles.

04 / Data and review tooling

Lore Intelligence Pipeline

A review pipeline for turning ongoing Discord lore threads and match evidence into organized staff decisions without losing the human review layer.

  • Continuously indexes lore threads and new messages into a structured Google Sheet.
  • Extracts stat-sheet evidence from uploaded images and records official-game context.
  • Produces sortable spec rankings, notes, team context, and staff-ready review fields.
  • Supports full regrades, duplicate-book handling, manual overrides, and live updates.

What I build

Full-stack Roblox systems.

01

Competitive gameplay

Timing windows, contests, animation state, ball physics, movement requirements, stamina, and server-validated outcomes.

02

Team building

Roster construction, player identity, tendencies, collection loops, progression choices, and systems designed for long-term content growth.

03

Progression and economy

Archetypes, stat caps, SP allocation, refunds, dev products, safe wipes, purchases, and persistent player records.

04

Cross-platform UX

Controller bindings, mobile layouts, menu behavior, contextual input, readable HUDs, and low-friction game flows.

05

Live operations

League administration, moderation, statistics, webhooks, role automation, scheduling, audit logs, and staff tools.

06

Reliability and performance

Server authority, anti-cheat limits, DataStore migrations, receipt handling, hot-path caching, event cleanup, and practical diagnostics.

How I work

Read the game. Protect the loop. Ship the fix.

  1. 01
    Trace the full path

I map the input, client state, remote, server validation, animation, physics, and saved result before changing behavior.

  2. 02
    Change the narrowest layer

I preserve the systems that already work and keep balancing values visible instead of burying them across scripts.

  3. 03
    Verify the player experience

I test edge cases, controller and mobile states, persistence, and the staff workflow around the feature.

About

I like games with real systems behind the highlights.

I'm trulyagents, owner of Redact Studios and a Roblox developer focused on the difficult middle of a live game: responsive mechanics, trustworthy server logic, persistent data, usable controls, and operations that staff can actually manage.

My co-flagship work spans Build a Basketball Team, a client-backed commercial production, and Limitless, a competitive live-service basketball game. I lead product and systems work across gameplay, UI, persistence, progression, economy, moderation, and live operations.
